Aura was designed with the Artemide brand in mind. The challenge I identified was to design a lighting fixture that provided ambient desk lighting, with an Artemide quality of elegance to it.
Chai has always been a social beverage - bringing people and stories together. However, the process of preparing it is esoteric and separated. I sought to answer the question: "How might we make chai-making a participatory and social experience?" DostE is a modern day chai-maker, manufactured with glass to allow users to fully appreciate the colors of chai as the different ingredients are added to the liquid. When the indicator rings light up, users can add ingredients (cinnamon sticks, ginger, cardamom etc.) to make their caraffe of chai for the group to enjoy!
